Getting the hang of the Petzval 58 bokeh control art lens 1.1.9 / 58mm on the Canon 5D III.
Designed originally circa 1840 it's all manual operation and when wide open focusing is a challenge but the results can be interesting. The effect of swirling bokeh was all down to the lens, you can dial in as much as you want which makes the whole process very interesting and creative. Just so you know when walking around with it attached to the camera people can resist stopping you to talk about it, allow plenty of time to get your shot.
